These lamps are complete replacements for your stock units. You will have to remove any panels located behind your license plate lamps to access them. Chances are there will be carpet, push clips, and bolts holding these items in so make sure you have some tools around (socket wrench, flat head screwdriver or pry tools).

These install in the same manner as the OEM units. The foam weatherproof seal around the housing is thick. Be sure to carefully push the unit into the mounting hole. Apply the minimum amount of pressure needed to get the unit to secure properly and clip in. You do not want to place extra pressure on the clip or it could break.
